- A month ago has been found a body believed to be that of a Nepalese student.
- Two men from the group of international students they were swept off the rocks when they swam.
- One of the men was able to climb but the other man failed.
- A search was launched involving the marine search and air search but could not locate his body.
- A bush walker spotted a body on rocks in south of the Figure Eight Pools and the body was retrieved by a police.
- While the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was searching reported a man was floating in the water.
